How My Life Really Changed

Read time: 4 minutes

6 months ago, I was lost.

On the outside, everything seemed fine.

I had a “good network,” a decent degree, and plenty of connections.

But deep down, I was restless, distracted, and, if I’m honest — purposeless.

I told myself I was doing all the right things. Going to events, making connections, even showing up at nightclubs in the name of “networking.”

But all of it felt hollow.

Inside, I was:

  • Losing focus

  • Drained from late nights and overworking

  • Constantly spinning my wheels, without getting closer to what I truly wanted

What I didn’t realize was that I was neglecting the best asset I had:

My network.

I didn’t see its full potential.

The Turning Point

That all changed one day when I looked around and asked myself:

Why am I not where I want to be?

I realized something about the people I admired:

They didn’t just have good networks — they leveraged them with

  • Purpose

  • Real Intention

  • Immense Hunger

I took a hard look at my own approach.

I’d been playing small. I’d been distracted. And most of all, I hadn’t been considering the incredible people in my circle to fuel my growth.

I decided it was time to make a change.

Why Most People Don’t Use Their Network to Its Full Potential

You might know people who are connected, charismatic, and have every resource at their fingertips.

Yet, they stay stagnant, comfortable, and never fully use the resources around them.

Maybe that even sounds like you, at least at times.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Having a good network is not enough. Most people fall into one of three traps:

  • Lack of focus: No clear vision makes networking random, leaving you with contacts but no progress.

  • Overestimating connections: Calling it 'networking' doesn’t work if it lacks substance.

  • Lack of Hunger: If you don’t bring intensity and drive, you’re relying on luck, not strategy.

I was in all three traps at once.

Until I made a commitment:

I would go all-in. Approaching my network with purpose. Turning every connection into an opportunity to learn, grow, and impact.

I decided to bring a new mindset to every interaction.

It wasn’t enough to just meet people anymore.

I had to learn from them, understand their value, and connect on a deeper level.

Here are the steps that took me from stagnant to purpose-driven, and, ultimately, to a life I’m genuinely proud of.

1. Get Laser Focused on Your Vision

First, I had to get clear on what I actually wanted.

Not just “more connections” or “business growth” but an authentic vision.

I wanted to build a business that helps people transform. A life filled with meaningful connections, global impact, and deep purpose.

With that clear vision, my conversations, my decisions, and even my priorities changed.

When you know where you’re going, your network becomes fuel to get you there.

2. Network with Purpose, Not for Appearances

Networking isn’t about accumulating contacts or business cards.

It’s about building genuine relationships that support your growth and theirs.

When I stopped going to events just to show face and started investing in the people who truly aligned with my dreams, everything shifted.

I stopped asking, “What can they give me?” and started asking, “What can we create together?”

That shift was everything.

It’s about quality, not quantity. Purpose, not performance.

3. Show Up Hungry and Willing to Learn

One of the greatest lessons I learned came from my father, who taught me early on that hunger is the edge.

It’s the difference between those who just get by and those who break through.

When you bring genuine hunger into your interactions — when you’re truly open to learn and eager to grow — people feel it.

And they respond.

I decided to become a “curious student” in every conversation.

Every interaction became an opportunity to learn, evolve, and bring something valuable back to my own journey.

4. Master the Art of Communication and Connection

This is the secret sauce.

I focused on refining my communication, making every interaction meaningful, respectful, and memorable.

People remember you for how you make them feel.

And when you bring warmth, authenticity, and clarity to each interaction, you start building a trust that lasts.

Your Network as a Catalyst

The results of this transformation were beyond what I could’ve imagined.

Since I started networking with purpose:

  • I’ve been coaching CEOs and high-achievers to reconnect with their purpose.

  • I’m travelling the world, sharing my story & inspiring others to unlock their potential.

  • I’m surrounded by mentors and collaborators who fuel my growth.

But here’s the truth:

Anyone can do this.

All it takes is a clear vision, a true commitment to purpose-driven networking, and the hunger to make it happen.

Ready to Unlock Your Own Potential?

If you’ve read this far, you’re ready for more.

Stop operating on auto-pilot and start making real impact.

Here’s my challenge to you:

  • Start with purpose. Define your vision and let it guide every action.

  • Reevaluate your network. Who are the people who can support, teach, and challenge you?

  • Bring your hunger. Show up ready to learn, grow, and take action.

I promise, once you unlock the full power of your network, the results will astound you.

It’s not just about who you know — it’s about how you grow, together.

Let’s make this journey one of purpose, power, and possibility.

If you’re ready to go deeper, stay tuned.

I’ll be sharing more insights, strategies, and stories in the weeks to come.
